Frequently asked questions

Is the place safe for babies and children?

There's no lifeguard in the swimming pool area, so it's not an ideal place for children who need constant attention.

Is the area safe?

The area is quite safe, with a police station just a few meters down the road. You can walk at any time, day or night, without any problems. However, we encourage our guests to always take precautions, such as leaving valuable items in the safes provided in all apartments.

Are pets allowed?

By default, we do not accept pets. However, if you are traveling with a support dog, please let us know in advance. The main reason for this policy is the presence of stray dogs in the area. Contact us if you need more information regarding this.

Are there extra clining fees?

All our rates are final. The cleaning of the apartment will be done at checkout or as needed during extended stays.

Check  In/Out instructions?

Check-in: 15:00; we'll notify you if the apartment is ready earlier. Check-out: 10:00; please inform us in advance if you need an extension.

We'll meet you on-site to hand over the keys. Kindly inform us of your arrival time, and provide flight or boat information for potential delays.

In the event we are unable to meet you personally, we'll leave the key to the apartment in a safe box and provide you with the password and instructions.

What are the host policies and rules?

Respect quiet hours; no loud music or disturbances.
No parties or outside visitors without prior notification.
Smoking allowed in open areas with proper disposal.
Tuesday evenings may have increased noise due to the Latin evening.
Please use a towel when sitting on all exterior furniture to ensure cleanliness and comfort.

Wi-Fi and Connection

We take pride in offering the island's highest-speed fiber optic connection. While rare, service interruptions may occur. For seamless connectivity, especially if you require uninterrupted internet access for work, we recommend consulting your roaming options or acquiring a prepaid SIM card. This ensures you stay connected without any disruptions.

We don't offer a TV service, all our TV's are smart and are able to connect to your favorite streaming service.
 

Payments and refunds

We accept cash, wire transfers, Visa, Amex and Master cards.

For online payments we use Payoneer and we are working to add more options all the time.

- High season and some other specific dates: a 50% deposit is required to make the reservation, full refund for cancelations up to 5 days before arrival (bank fees and credit card commissions can't be refunded)

- Low season: No deposit is required unless it's a multiple-room reservation. In that case, the rules of high season apply.

 

If you're booking through a 3rd party platform, then it's their policy that's valid.

What's the parking situation?

We do not have private parking, you can park in the street in front of the building. The area is safe.
 

What can I find in the area?

We are located in the heart of Simpson Bay, right next to Simpson Bay Bridge. This is one of the busiest areas of Sint Maarten, where you'll be within walking distance of dozens of bars, pubs, restaurants, banks, grocery stores, souvenir shops, casinos, and more. Across the bridge on Kimsha Beach, you'll find an array of beach bars, boat tours, water sport rentals, diving schools, and much more. Additionally, access to Simpson Bay Beach is just a few meters from our entrance. This beach is in a more residential area, making it quieter and less crowded with bars.
